Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here. Starting therapy is an important step, and I want to make your first session as smooth and comfortable as possible. Below you’ll find everything you need to know before your initial consultation.
Getting Started
To prepare for your first session, please email the following items to gwensbloom@gmail.com:
A copy of your driver’s license (front and back)
A copy of your insurance card (front and back)
Your date of birth
The completed Client Intake Packet (please print, fill out, and scan or photograph before sending)
How Sessions Work
I use a hybrid model of care, offering both in-person and telehealth sessions.
In-person sessions are generally offered on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and alternating Saturdays (schedules may shift at times).
Telehealth sessions are typically available on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Because I occasionally travel, I kindly ask for flexibility in attending either in-person or telehealth sessions. At times, you may be asked to switch from an in-office session to telehealth. I truly appreciate your understanding and adaptability so that we can maintain continuity of care.
Telehealth Sessions
If you choose telehealth:
You’ll receive a secure SimplePractice link before your appointment.
Download the app, then simply click on the link and follow the on-screen instructions.
Appointment reminders are automatically sent through SimplePractice.
Billing & Payments
Billing is managed electronically through Inspired Billing.
For any billing questions, please contact r.mendoza@inspiredbilling.com.
Monthly invoices will be sent to the email address you provide.
